Orlando Pirates are preparing for ‘an uncertain and energised’ approach from Marumo Gallants in Saturday’s Betway Premiership game at Free State Stadium.
Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi observed that Gallants might have changed their playing approach under coach who replaced sacked Dan Malesela.
“It is another opportunity for our team to wrestle and fight for three points. It is an uncertain approach. We don’t know what the opponents will offer but one thing is for sure, it is an energized approach with the new coach. We will offer everything in our power to get the three points,” he said.
Ncikazi will lead the Buccaneers standing in for his boss Jose Riveiro who was suspended after a spat with a referee in a game against Cape Town City.
In the other camp, Abdeslam Ouaddou is in charge of Gallants after the sacking of Malesela.
Lying in 15th position in the relegation zone, Gallants go into the match with their nightmarish 8-1 loss to Pirates in mind.
