Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller expressed his happiness after securing a 2-0 Egyptian Premier League victory against Al Masry on Thursday evening at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, as reported by Al Ahly's official website, Koller said: “We faced a strong opponent and managed to score goals. Achieving victory against Al Masry was our goal and we succeeded.”
The head coach added: “We have talented players in set-piece situations such as Wissam Abou Ali and Yahia Attiyat Allah, who managed to score today. We are delighted with his goal.”
Koller also highlighted the team’s packed schedule in the coming weeks, emphasizing the coaching staff’s plan to rotate players based on their readiness while providing rest to key players who regularly feature in the starting lineup.
