Eintracht Frankfurt and Egypt national team forward Omar Marmoush has been named the Bundesliga Player of the Month for November.
Marmoush secured the award ahead of a nominee list that included Nathaniel Brown, Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, Dayot Upamecano and Anthony Caci. The Egyptian forward featured in four league matches in November scoring four goals (most among all players) and providing three assists.
This is the second time this season that Marmoush has claimed the Player of the Month award having previously won it for September. Currently, Marmoush ranks as the second-highest scorer in the Bundesliga this season with 13 goals trailing only Harry Kane who leads with 14 goals.
Additionally, Marmoush is also the league's joint top assist provider with seven assists, sharing the accolade with Vincenzo Grifo of Freiburg.
Eintracht Frankfurt now sits third in the Bundesliga standings with 27 points, six points behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Marmoush’s fantastic stats so far highlight him as one of the league's top stars this season.
