Uganda’s Rogers Mato and Deogratious Ojok were the standout performers abroad over the weekend, delivering decisive goals for their respective clubs.
Mato came off the bench in the 63rd minute and made an instant impact, netting twice to guide FK Vardar to a commanding 3-1 victory over Pelister in North Macedonia. Meanwhile, in Kenya, Ojok was the hero for Tusker FC, scoring the lone goal after being introduced in the second half as they edged Bidco United 1-0.

In Denmark, Phionah Nabbumba played 16 minutes in Midtjylland’s 1-1 draw with ASA Aarhus, while Robert Kakeeto enjoyed 81 minutes on the pitch as Middelfart secured a narrow 1-0 win over BK Frem.
In Sweden, John Paul Dembe featured for the final eight minutes as Hacken saw off Brommapojkarna 2-0, whereas Calvin Kabuye remained on the bench in Mjallby’s 2-2 stalemate with IF Elfsborg.
