Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui has named a Manchester United player who is a perfect example of adaptation to manager Ruben Amorim’s tactical system.
The wingback told Premier League Productions that new defender Leny Yoro has perfectly illustrated an ability to adapt to Amorim's ways.
“Yes, I think a big example of that is Leny. How he started as a left centre-back and how he is doing now. He has really improved. The way he is taking the ball, he is carrying the ball a lot more, it's a little bit where we want to go,” United's website quotes Mazraou saying.
The Moroccan admitted that he likes to play as part of a three-man defence and a wing-back.
"I think I have great qualities in defence, as well as in attacking, so I think right centre-back suits me at this moment really well. But I like to play wing-back from time to time, just to really attack, you know," Mazraoui added.
Noussair Mazraoui said this ahead of Sunday's away game at Bournemouth.
The Moroccan made his 50th appearance for the Reds in last week’s 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers since signing from Bayern Munich.
