Algerian outfit Mouloudia d’Oran has began the search to replace departed coach Éric Chelle. Chelle was unveiled as coach of Nigeria national team this week after leaving the Oran-based Algerian Ligue 1 club by mutual consent.
The French-Malian tactician left Oran after a brief spell in the Algerian top flight, prompting the club to search for a suitable successor. According to Competition DZ, MC Oran will go for a foreign coach after receiving many CVs from Africa, Europe and South America. Although Algerian coaches have been proposed for hiring it seems unlikely for the club management will follow suit.
MC Oran wants a coach with Chelle’s caliber. The club is 10th in the log table and qualified for the Round of 16 in the Algerian Cup on Saturday.
