Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak have blown hot and cold in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season much to the surprise of its vociferous following.

The record Ghana FA Cup holders have raked home 8 wins, 6 draws and four loses from 18 league games and are seated 5th on the table with 30 points.

The performance has not sat well with the fans following their rivals, Asante Kotoko’s ascension to the top of the league table last weekend.

That notwithstanding, the club’s defender, Michael Ampadu has assured fans that the team is fully prepared to secure all three points in their upcoming clash against Heart of Lions.

After drawing goalless with Basake Holy Stars in the week 18 match, Michael Ampadu is confident that Hearts of Oak will emerge victorious in the next outing.

“We’re ready to give it everything we’ve got this Friday. Our fans are counting on us, and we can’t wait to get out there,” Ampadu told Hearts of Oak media.

The Phobians will take on Heart of Lions on Friday, January 31, in a Week 19 fixture of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The match is set to take place at the Legon Sports Stadium, where Hearts of Oak will be aiming for a crucial win to push them closer to the league’s top four.
