Asante Kotoko ‘s latest signing, Michael Sefah has expressed excitement after completing a move to the record Ghana Premier League holders.
Sefah, who previously played for Liberty Professionals and Medeama SC, signed an 18 month contract to join the Porcupine Warriors before the January transfer deadline day.
“Signing for Kotoko is a proud moment for me. This is a club with such a rich history and a massive following, and I feel honored to wear this jersey," he said after signing the deal.
Sefah will compete for places in the starting team with James Ablorh, Samba O'neil and Henry Ansu. "I know there’s strong competition for places with the likes of Ablorh, Samba, and Ansu already here, but I welcome that challenge.
Competing with such quality players will only push me to work harder and be at my best," added the 29-year-old. "I’m ready to give my all on the pitch and contribute to the team’s success. The fans deserve nothing less than our best effort, and I’m here to deliver.”
Sefah could make his debut for the Reds when the second begins against Karela United on Sunday, January 26 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
