
Former Uganda Cranes midfield maestro Mike Sserumaga has officially begun training with Proline FC after rejoining the club from retirement during the January transfer window.
Sserumaga, who impressed while playing for Football Classroom, a WhatsApp group-based team that participated in the ongoing 51st Stanbic Uganda Cup caught the attention of Proline after his performances despite their early exit at the Round of 64 against FUFA Big League side Buhimba United.
The experienced playmaker, who also works as a sports analyst for Ugandan Football TV on YouTube previously played for Proline in 2012 after leaving Ethiopian giants St. George FC. His leadership and experience are expected to be crucial in Proline's push for promotion from the Kampala Regional League to the FUFA Big League.
Sserumaga is set to make his second debut for the club on February 23rd when Proline visits Katereke Newlife SC in the Kampala Regional League.
His illustrious career has seen him play for several clubs, including KB Lions, SC Villa, Vipers SC, Police FC, URA FC, St. George (Ethiopia), Helsingborg (Sweden), and Rayon Sport (Rwanda).
