Liverpool’s Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has been named the EA Sports FC Player of the Month for February, securing the award for the seventh time in his career.

Salah’s latest triumph comes after a sensational month during which he played six matches, scoring six goals and providing four assists.

With this latest win, Salah has now matched the all-time record for the most Player of the Month awards, equaling Harry Kane and Sergio Agüero, both of whom also won the award seven times during their Premier League careers.

By reaching this milestone, the Egyptian superstar has also surpassed Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo, who each won the award six times.

Salah’s Premier League Player of the Month awards so far:

November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021, October 2023, November 2024, February 2025.

Premier League Standings: Liverpool in command

Liverpool is at the top of the Premier League table with 70 points, holding a 15-point lead over second-placed Arsenal, who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Brighton, the club of Gambian nominee Yankuba Minteh, are in seventh place with 46 points, just three points behind Chelsea in fourth who currently occupy the final UEFA Champions League qualification spot. Brighton also trail third-placed Nottingham Forest by five points.
