Everton manager David Moyes has given an update on the injury situation of Senegal forward, Iliman Ndiaye.

The Scottish boss has expressed optimism about the return of the Teranga Lion despite the player’s current unavailability.

Speaking ahead of Everton’s upcoming fixtures against Manchester United, Moyes confirmed that Ndiaye has been receiving treatment and working diligently to make a swift recovery.

“Ili [Ndiaye] has been taking injections and we’re quite positive that he’s working hard to get back quickly,” Moyes said. “So we’re hoping we can get him back maybe before the time we thought – but they’re not fit just now.”

Ndiaye, who has been an influential figure for the Toffees this season, has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury, leaving Everton eager for his return as they look to strengthen their campaign.

Moyes and his medical team remain cautious in their approach, ensuring Ndiaye’s recovery is managed properly to avoid any setbacks. While a return date remains uncertain, the club remains hopeful for an earlier-than-expected comeback.
