Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) president Feizal Sidat has been hospitalised in Egypt. Sidat confirmed to Pan-Africa Football that he is in Cairo for medical attention after suffering a heart complication.
He was hospitalised on Thursday due to the heart complications.
In a statement, FMF stated: "The President underwent a surgical procedure related to the arteries in his heart. It went without complications and is safe, and in recovery."
Sidat is in his fourth term at the helm of FMF after recapturing the presidency in 2019 he lost in 2015. He had previously served two four-year terms before losing the seat.
