Having already lost twice to Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has vowed to deploy a different approach when they face the reigning champions in a Betway Premiership fixture at a sold-out Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.

Amakhosi will head into the fixture seeking to earn revenge having already lost twice to the Brazilians. The first defeat came in the Carling Knockout quarter-finals clash in September which Sundowns won 2-1 before they beat them against 4-1 in a league fixture at FNB Stadium in November.

“I fancy our chances against this team who's maybe in the top two in Africa. I love this challenge. I don't go like a small team...I trust my players, my staff and myself. We've prepared some ideas [to beat Sundowns],” said Nabi as quoted by Sowetan.

“I want a good result. I promise you this game won't be like our previous two games against Sundowns ... it'll be a very different game.”

The Tunisian gaffer explained what went wrong in the previous two defeats by saying: “I think the first game, honestly, was a 0-0 game ... you remember that game [that ended 2-1].

“The second game [that they lost 4-0], we had played two days earlier in Bloemfontein or Polokwane and the team came very, very tired in Joburg and it was an off day physically, mentally and tactically.”

While Amakhosi will be without suspended Gaston Sirino, the Brazilians will be without Aubrey Modiba due to suspension, while goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is also doubtful after missing the Sekhukhune United match due to injury.
