
Namibia Football Association (NFA) general secretary Charles Siyauya has died less than a year into his term of office.
NFA confirmed the demise of Siyauya after a short-term illness at a hospital on Monday, March 3, 2025.
The association mourned the departed GS for playing “a pivotal role in discharging the roll-out of the strategic initiatives of the Executive Council set for the NFA with day-to-day administrative and operational support and assistance rendered by his management team and staff.”
The late Siyauya was born on 10th March 1975 in Schuckmannsburg in Kabbe, North Constituency in the Zambezi region. NFA has since named Cassius Moetie as the interim General Secretary.
