Ghana Premier League club, Nations fc have strengthened their squad for the second round with the capture of defender, Christopher Nettey

The Kumasi based side have roped in the service of former Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics defender, Christopher Nettey ahead of the second round of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

The 25-year-old right-back joins the club as a free agent after leaving Great Olympics at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Nettey’s signing is expected to significantly strengthen the defensive ranks of Nations, who are determined to make a major impact in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

Nettey, known for his consistency and versatility, enjoyed a solid spell at Olympics last season, making 20 league appearances and contributing two goals.

His ability to both defend resolutely and offer attacking support from the right flank made him a key player for the club.

Nations are hoping that Nettey will bring this same level of performance and stability to their team.

With his experience in the league, Nettey’s addition is seen as an important piece of the puzzle as the ambitious side looks to improve their squad for the second half of the season.

As Nations focuses on achieving their goals, Nettey is set to play a pivotal role in their plans, further solidifying his reputation as one of the top defenders in the league.
