The Round of 32 appears to be complete in South Africa's Nedbank Cup and it ended with a one-sided goal fest in favor of Betway Premiership side TS Galaxy, who dispatched part-timers Vasco da Gama 7-0 on Wednesday.
Third tier Vasco da Gama, based in Cape Town, had no answer for the superior quality of the top flight side. The Rockets scored early and often, going up 2-0 inside the opening five minutes through goals from Bosnian forward Dzenan Zajmovic.
Former Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly, acquired in November after four months out of action, scored on his first start for TS Galaxy as he continues to build up fitness.
Marks Munyai made it 4-0 before halftime and Thokozani Sibanyoni added two more goals in the second half along with a goal from Croatian Damir Sovsic.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Nedbank Cup conducted its Round of 16 draw. Mamelodi Sundowns face third tier side Mpheni Home Defenders while holders Orlando Pirates face second division club Baroka FC.
There is one more Round of 32 match that has yet to be played between Royal AM and Milford FC due to Royal AM's ongoing financial issues, making it appear likely that Milford will advance via forfeit but no official announcement has been made at this point.
