Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has credited Aston Villa coach Unai Emery for making him a complete professional footballer.
The Senegalese striker mentioned Emery's influence on his career during an interview with Sky Sports Television on Saturday.
Jackson traced Emery's impact on his football when he was Villarreal coach. The striker had signed for the Spanish La Liga side straight from Senegal.
Jackson admitted that he was not technically good when he signed for Villarreal.
"Unai at Villareal taught me alot; everything about football because when I was from Senegal I knew how to play but I didn't understand how to run on the pitch," he said.
"I was just running like crazy but he changed all that making me a different kind of a player."
The Aston Villa manager handed Jackson his first-team debut at Villarreal in 2021.
Jackson is Chelsea's leading striker even though he is often criticised for poor finishing.
