Reigning Egyptian and African club champions Al Ahly have officially secured the signing of 22-year-old Slovenian striker Nejc Gradisar from Hungarian club Fehérvár FC, as announced by Egyptian media personality Ahmed Shobier on Al Ahly's TV channel.
The Slovenian forward signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Al Ahly SC.
Gradisar currently ranks as the second-highest scorer in Hungary's top division Nemzeti Bajnokság with 7 goals, narrowly trailing the league's top two scorers who have each netted 8 goals.
His stats across different teams are as follows:
NK Bravo (Slovenia) (-2022): 1 appearance
NK Brežice 1919 (Slovenia) (2021): 15 appearances, 7 goals (loan)
NK Rogaška (Slovenia) (2022-24): 57 appearances, 24 goals, 4 assists
Fehérvár FC (Hungary) (2024-25): 36 appearances, 9 goals, 4 assists
On the international stage, Gradisar has played once for Slovenia's national team, where he scored a goal against USA.
As Wessam Abou Ali is near to missing the next big game against Pyramids FC in the Egyptian League on Sunday, Gradisar may be in the team squad for this game.
