English Premier League holders Manchester City have completed the signing of attacker Omar Marmoush from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. The Citizens paid 58 million pounds for the service of the Egyptian international.
Coming up from the Wadi Degla academy in Egypt the 25 years old striker spent much of his early career in Germany. Nonetheless, he is notable for his attacking proficiency at Frankfurt as he scored 15 league goals in 17 appearances in the ongoing campaign.
His one year and half stay at Frankfurt forced City to pay a big amount of money to bring him to the Premier League.
Marmoush put pen to paper a deal that runs till 2029. After signing the deal Marmoush told City website that he is elated. “It’s a big, big honour and I’m really, really happy to be the first player to play for Manchester City [from Egypt], showing what my country has.”
Marmoush is capped 35 times by his country.
