Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi insists only three points would be acceptable for them from their Betway Premiership match against Chippa United on Wednesday.
Ncizaki stressed the need for the Buccaneers to dust themselves off after last weekend’s 2-0 loss to Marumo Gallants and fight for maximum points at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
""It is always good to come back after a setback,” he told Pirates media. “It is important for us. There will be nothing that will be acceptable except three points when we go away to the Eastern Cape. Preparations have gone very well. [We focused] only on analysis of the match," he said.
Pirates are in second place with four games in hand behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ncikazi is standing in for his boss Jose Riveiro who was suspended for two games after a spat with a referee in a game against Cape Town City the previous week.
Chippa are coming from a goalless draw against Richards Bay last weekend.
