South African coach Pitso Mosimane's Esteghlal FC dropped points for the second consecutive Iran Pro League game after an away 1-1 draw with Aluminium Arak on Friday afternoon.
Mosimane took his charges on the road to face Arak while coming from a goalless result against Gol Gohal FC at home.
Esteghlal started the game promisingly as they went ahead via Jaloliddin Masharipov’s strike from the penalty spot in added time of the first half.
However, the hosts, roared by the home crowd, equalized through Mohammad Kazemian’s goal in the 63rd minute.
