Nigeria international Emmanuel Arokodare has said that, training with top stars like Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Boniface in the Super Eagles camp gives him a different feeling.
The Racing Genk marksman is full of praise for the trio describing them as 'high-level players.' Arokodare earned his first senior call-up for the pair of 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
The 24-year-old made his Super Eagles debut off the bench against Rwanda in a game the three time African champions won 2-0 at the Amahoro Stadium. He joined the fray in the second half for coach Eric Chelle’s side in the disappointing 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Looking back on his time with the national team, Arokodare revealed that training with elite players has significantly boosted his confidence.
Arokodare stated: "I walk around with a different feeling now. That selection gave me an extra boost. "Training with players like Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi or Victor Boniface, they are 'high level' players. "I am very happy that I have already had that experience.” Arokodare told voetbalbelgie.be.
Arokodare is the leading goalscorer in the Jupiler Pro League, followed by Sint-Truiden’s Adriano Bertaccini with sixteen goals and Anderlecht's Kasper Dolberg in third with fourteen.
The 24-year-old center forward scored his eighteenth league goal of the season in a 4-0 rout of KAA Gent on Sunday.
