Hany Said, the sporting director of Pyramids FC, commented on the CAF Champions League quarterfinal draw which placed Pyramids against Morocco’s AS FAR.

He confirmed that the responsibility is great as the club represents Egypt in the competition and is fully committed to honoring Egyptian football. The sporting director also expressed his hope for an all-Egyptian final between Pyramids and Al Ahly so that the title remains in Egypt.

Said added that everyone has full confidence in Pyramids’ players and the technical staff, and the entire team is ready for the next stage of the Champions League. He stressed that they do not look at the opponent or prefer to face a specific team, as anyone aiming for the title must be prepared to compete against any possible opponent.

He affirmed that Pyramids is fully ready for the two matches against AS FAR but the focus is currently on completing the decisive stages of the domestic league, after which attention will shift to the Champions League.

Said emphasized that the current phase is difficult and requires complete concentration, with strong and decisive matches in the first round of the league that must be won before entering the final stage.

Pyramids also have upcoming matches in the Egypt Cup and League Cup before turning to the Champions League at the beginning of April and given that the team is competing in four highly competitive tournaments, full concentration is essential according to Said.
