Captain of Nations FC Razak Simpson has set sight on pushing the side back to the summit of the Ghana Premier League and eventually win the title at the end of the season.

Nations last two games before the league was halted ended in defeats against new boys Young Apostles and Bechem United dropped them down into 5th in the Premier League with 32 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko.

Simpson, who made his senior national team debut in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger, says their ultimate goal is to win the league title.

"We are training hard each and every day on the pitch, and we are going to Bibiani, who are first on the league table. It won’t be easy, but sure we are going," said Simpson.

"We are training hard and hopefully, when we get there we’ll see the result. As a team, as a football club, we want to win the Premier League."

Nations FC's immediate attention turns to their upcoming League match, which will preserve their hope of a trophy this season. Kasim Mingle's men face a tough test against Gold Stars in match-day 20 fixture on Sunday, March 9, at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
