Ethiopian Premier League side Saint George has filed an official compliant to the National Referee Committee citing poor performance of FIFA licensed arbiter Tewdros Mitiku during Sunday's Sheger Derby against Ethiopian Coffee.
Mitiku failed to hand Saint George two visible penalties and allowed Coffee keeper Danlad Ibrahim to touch the ball twice during a direct free kick. One notable penalty claim from the view of the Horsemen occurred in each half.
Tegenu Teshome and Abdulhafiz Tofik were both fouled inside the box but the referee waved play on in both incidents.
Saint George have now complained over the refereeing. The committee has already sent Mitiku back to Addis Ababa and Pan-Africa Football understands that the referee won't be taking part in league games for the next few rounds.

In Ethiopia the refereeing committee oftentimes don't disclose disciplinary action taken on referees.
The derby ended in a barren draw as Saint George failed to close the gap on league leaders Ethiopian Insurance.
