Mohamed Salah achieved another milestone in Liverpool's two-all draw with Fulham on Saturday evening, two days after winning the English Premier League club's November Player of the Month accolade.
Salah chalked his 100th assist after providing the final ball for Cody Gakpo’s initial equalizer for 10-men Liverpool at Anfield after left back Andy Robertson was red-carded in the first half.
Diogo Jota scored with four minutes remaining on the clock to steal the point from Fulham who got their goals through Andreas Pereira and substitute Rodrigo Muniz.
Liverpool's website says the Egyptian's 100th assist across all competitions and 13th for this season came in his 372 appearances for the club. He is three assists from matching his record assists of the 2023 season.
On Friday, the Egyptian won Liverpool’s Standard Chartered Men’s Player of the Month for the third time this season.
Liverpool fans voted for Salah as the best in the month ahead of goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher and Gakpo.
“Of course [I’m happy], I know I’ve won it a few times before–but as long as the team is winning games, that is the most important thing,” Salah told Liverpoolfc.com.
Salah has been instrumental in helping Liverpool stay top of the Premier League table, six points ahead of second-placed Chelsea.
