Liverpool star Mohamed Salah shared his joy after his team secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester City in the English Premier League.
Salah indicated that he favors this season over his previous ones with Liverpool, highlighting the hope of staying calm and aiming for victory in every match. Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Salah said:
"Incredible result it's very hard to place to come and play here, a tough team with an incredible manager they can dominate any game here but I'm glad in the end we managed to win the game."
He added: "It's special to be here and win especially when you're running to the title race it's incredible to win like four in a row now. It's an incredible team but hopefully we just keep calm because sometimes the pressure gets to us so hopefully we just keep calm and play our game and try to win each game."
Salah answered a question regarding if he is now better than ever, saying:
"I don't know it's opinion, maybe people prefer my first season some people prefer now, I prefer now because winning the league you are doing your best and helping the team and helping young players as well, it's incredible."
When asked if he needs another title and whether it feels close, he responded:
"I wouldn't say it feels close. We need another title for sure, me and the big guys here in the team we need another title but yeah we'll give it our best."
Liverpool currently sits at the top of the Premier League table with 64 points, 11 points ahead of Arsenal, the second-placed team, which has a game in hand.
