Mohamed Salah has once again etched his name in the Premier League history books.

With two goals and an assist in Liverpool's thrilling 3-3 draw against Newcastle, the Egyptian superstar has now achieved the feat of scoring and assisting in the same game 37 times—more than any other player in the league's history.

This remarkable achievement saw Salah surpass Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, who held the record with 36 matches since January 2016. Behind them are iconic names such as Thierry Henry (32), Alan Shearer (31), and Andrew Cole (28), showcasing Salah's position among the all-time greats.

The match was played at St. James’ Park in Round 14 of the Premier League. Newcastle took the lead in the 35th minute through Alexander Isak. Liverpool equalized early in the second half with Curtis Jones scoring in the 50th minute after a brilliant assist from Salah.

Newcastle regained their lead in the 62nd minute through Anthony Gordon, but Salah responded with two goals in the 68th and 83rd minutes to put Liverpool ahead. However, a stoppage-time equalizer from Fabian Schär in the 90th minute ensured the points were shared.

With this draw, Liverpool now sit at the top of the Premier League table with 35 points and a seven-point lead over second-placed Chelsea and third-placed Arsenal.

Newcastle moved to 20 points, and now occupy the 10th place in the standings.
