Egyptian star Mohamed Salah delivered yet another outstanding performance in the Premier League, scoring twice in Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Southampton on Saturday.

His goals not only helped in securing three points for the Reds but also propelled him further up the ranks in the history books.

With his latest brace, Salah has now reached 184 Premier League goals, placing him joint-fifth on the league’s all-time top scorers list alongside Sergio Agüero.

The current top five scorers in Premier League history are:

1. Alan Shearer – 260 goals

2. Harry Kane – 213 goals

3. Wayne Rooney – 208 goals

4. Andy Cole – 187 goals

5. Mohamed Salah & Sergio Agüero – 184 goals

With nine matches remaining this season, Salah is likely to surpass Andy Cole and claim the fourth spot outright.

Third on Liverpool’s all-time list

Salah’s tally for Liverpool across all competitions has now reached 243 goals, making him the club’s third-highest goalscorer of all time.

He has surpassed Gordon Hodgson (241 goals) and now trails only Roger Hunt (285 goals) and club legend Ian Rush (346 goals) on the club's all-time scoring charts. Salah continues to cement his status as one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever players.

Leading the Premier League Golden Boot race

The Egyptian forward also sits at the top of the Premier League goal-scoring charts this season with 27 goals, seven goals above the second top scorer, Erling Haaland.
