SC Villa marks their return to Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, as they host Maroons FC in the final fixture of StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 19 on Sunday at 3 PM.

The Jogoos have been playing home matches at Maroons’ Prison Ground in Luzira due to Wankulukuku’s renovations ahead of CHAN 2025, which Uganda will co-host with Kenya and Tanzania.

Both teams are seeking redemption, with Villa coming off a 2-0 defeat to UPDF in Bombo, while Maroons are winless in their last four league outings. However, Villa remains unbeaten at home this season and has dominated this fixture, winning five of the last 12 meetings, including a 2-1 victory at Wankulukuku last season.

Reigning MVP Patrick Kakande will be key for the hosts, having scored twice in last season’s comeback win over Maroons. Both sides sit on 24 points, with Villa in 8th place and Maroons in 10th.
