Several injuries for Pyramids FC before Haras El Hodoud encounter

Pyramids FC will be missing several players due to injuries and suspension when they face Haras El Hodoud in the Nile Egyptian League.


The match is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:00 PM GMT at the Air Defense Stadium, as part of Matchweek 13 of the competition.


Injury and Suspension Updates


Dr. Mostafa El Monaiery; the head of Pyramids FC’s medical staff, confirmed the following absences:


Sodiq Awujoola (Nigerian): Sidelined for three weeks due to a knee injury and ligament sprain.


Ramadan Sobhi: Out for one week with an ankle ligament sprain.


Ali Gabr: Ruled out for 10 days due to a hamstring strain.


Ahmed Tawfik: He suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament and is currently being prepared to return to the pitch within days.


Walid El Karti (Moroccan): Suffering from a groin muscle strain, sidelined for one week.


Additionally, Ahmed Sami is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards, including one in the previous match against Smouha.

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed El Shenawy, Youssef Nader.


Defenders: Mahmoud Marei, Osama Galal, Mohamed Hamdy, Mohamed Chibi, Karim Hafez, Tarek Alaa.


Midfielders: Blati Touré, Mohannad Lashin, Mahmoud Dunga, Ahmed Atef Kotta, Mostafa Fathi, Ibrahim Adel, Abd Alrahman Magdy.


Forwards: Youssef Obama, Fiston Mayele, Dodo El Gabbas, Marwan Hamdy.


Pyramids FC currently sits second in the Nile Egyptian League table with 29 points, just two points behind league leaders Al Ahly, who claimed the top spot after a 1-0 victory over Ghazl El Mahalla in this round.
