Simba SC head coach Fadlu Davids has revealed what the Mainland Tanzanian Premier League giants want to achive in CAF Confederation Cup this season.
The Wekundu wa Msimbazi started started their Group A campaign with a 1-0 victory against Angola’s Bravo do Maquis in Dar es Salaam. Ahead of their second group match against Algeria’s CS Constantine on Sunday, the South African coach explained what he wants to achieve with the Tanzanian club.
“Victory is not a gift; it’s earned through hard work and preparation. We’re building a team capable of winning matches and achieving the club’s goal of reaching the quarter-finals,” Davids said as quoted by the Guardian.
On coming up against Constantine, he said: “They are a well-organized team with a strong squad. We respect them, but we are prepared to fight and get the result we need.”
The game against the Algerian outfit will be played at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine, Algeria.
