Simba SC head coach Fadlu Davids has revealed his plans as they prepare to face CS Constantine in their second fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

Both teams won their opening Group A matches - Simba beating Bravo do Maquis of Angola 1-0 at home and CS Constantine winning 1-0 against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia.

"We need to play this match strategically, not just because we play, because we have two options, win or draw, so we don't need to open up too much, but when we have the ball we need to be fast and make quick decisions," said Fadlu as quoted by the Guardian.

The South African coach further confirmed the addition into the squad of goalkeeper Hussein Abel as a replacement for first choice Aishi Manula, who was dropped at the eleventh hour owing to illness.

"The preparations are complete, I am happy to bring in goalkeeper Hussein [Abel] to increase their numbers if anything happens, I expect the match to be tough and fast, we are prepared for that, I have seen they have good defenders, but in this game it is important for us to score a goal to keep us in the game," he said.

Meanwhile, CS Constantine coach Kheireddine Madoui bemoned the loss of three key players ahead of the game. "We will be without Tamine and Belhoussini due to injuries, Tapsoba has left for international duty, when we are missing key players we know we will face a big challenge. This is a situation that makes us worried," said Madoui.
