Singida Black Stars head coach Ramadhan Nsanzurwimo is confident of beating Simba SC in a Mainland Premier League fixture on Saturday.
While Simba are leading the 16-team table with 36 points, Singida Black Stars are in fourth place with 33 points. Ahead of the fixture, coach Nsanzurwimo has explained why they will not fear Simba, who have won three straight matches in the league since their 2-1 Caf Confederation Cup victory against CS Sfaxien.
“We have prepared well for the game, we have questions that we want Simba to answer, and I know they want us to answer some questions, the game needs a lot of concentration because the two teams have good squads, and good coaches,” Nsanzurwimo told Pan-Africa Football.
“With proper concentration from my players, we will get what we want from the game, we don’t fear them (Simba) but we have respect for them, we have a good squad and quality players just like them, so only 90 minutes will decide, who takes home maximum points.”
The game at Liti Stadium in Singida comes after Simba defeated KenGold 2-0, Kagera Sugar 5-1 and JKT Tanzania 1-0. Just like Simba, Singida Black Stars are in a run of three straight wins.
Since losing 2-1 against Azam FC, they have managed to beat Dodoma Jiji 2-1, Tanzania Prisons 2-0 and KenGold 2-1.
