Ghana international Inaki Williams has lashed out on the refereeing decisions during Athletic Bilbao's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Barcelona in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Williams had his 86th-minute strike ruled out following a Video Assistant Referee check as the Catalanians cruised to the finals of the Spanish Super Cup with a 2-0 victory at the King Abdullah Sports City.

Gavi gave Barcelona an early lead in the 17th minute before intelligent youngster, Lamine Yamal icing the cake with the second after the break. Williams, who was unhappy with the performance of referee Miguel Ortiz, felt Bilbao were treated as if they were playing away from home.

"It was like playing away from home," he said in a post-match interview. "I find it strange that these types of plays are cancelled. I don't think it's fair," added the striker. "It seems that the rules are not the same for everyone."

Barcelona will face the winner of the second semi-final between Real Madrid and Real Mallorca in the final. The Black Stars player has netted five goals and delivered four appearances in 18 La Liga games this season.
