Express FC will make the long trip to Yumbe for their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 clash against Total FC on Wednesday, but they will do so with a depleted squad.

Head coach Badru Kaddu faces a major selection headache after suffering four key injury setbacks. Team captain Emmanuel Alex Wasswa, winger Richard Basangwa, striker Sam Ssenyonjo and defender Derrick Ngoobi are all ruled out due to injuries.

The Red Eagles, who share the record for most Uganda Cup titles (10), secured their spot in this round with a narrow 1-0 victory over Red Devo. They will, however need to dig deep against a determined Total FC side that knocked out Arua Hill in the previous round and will be eager to cause an upset.

Elsewhere, SC Villa will travel to Gayaza to take on Simba FC, the team that eliminated Mbale Heroes. Meanwhile, Rwenzori Lions will face Buhimba United Saints, who advanced after edging out non-league side Football Classroom.
