The Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 concluded on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with Maroons FC securing the final spot in the last 16 after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Wakiso Giants at Luzira Prison Grounds.

Following a goalless draw in regulation time, the Prison Warders triumphed 4-2 in the shootout. Maroons join an already competitive lineup in the Round of 16, including SC Villa, who eliminated Simba FC 1-0, and Total FC, who stunned Express FC.
