Ugandan forward Musa Esenu has signed a six-month contract with Rwanda Premier League side Vision FC, where he will play at least until the end of the current season.

Esenu returns to Rwandan football, having previously featured for Rayon Sports until early last year. His move to Vision FC comes after an unsuccessful stint at BUL FC, where he joined in January 2024 but was unable to secure international clearance, leaving without playing a competitive game.

Esenu's extensive experience includes previous spells with Soana, Vipers SC, KCCA FC and Kirinya Jinja SS in the Uganda Premier League, alongside his first stint at BUL FC. His signing brings hope to Vision FC, who are battling relegation.

The club is currently second from bottom on the league table with just 12 points from 15 games. Esenu’s arrival adds firepower as the team looks to climb out of the drop zone.

Vision FC also boasts the talents of Junior Ainamani, formerly of Mbarara City, and goalkeeper Michael Lutaaya, who previously played for Busoga United.

Esenu is the third Ugandan to make a move to the Rwanda Premier League during this transfer window, following Denis Omedi and Hakim Kiwanuka, who joined giants APR FC earlier this week.
