Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah has been signed by Singida Black Stars FC.

The former Medeama SC attacker has signed for the Tanzania club from Libya outfit, Al Nasr Benghazi in a deal reported to be in the region of $220,000.

Sowah, 24, will become the latest addition to a growing contingent of Ghanaian players at Singida Black Stars, joining Emmanuel Keyekeh and Ibrahim Imoro.

Sowah had been contracted to Al Nasr until December 31, 2025, after joining the Libyan club in January 2024 for a reported $200,000 from Ghana Premier League club, Medeama SC.

He was a key figure in Medeama’s Ghana Premier League title-winning 2022-2023 campaign, netting 12 goals and providing one assist in 20 league appearances.

His outstanding performances earned him a call-up to the Black Stars for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations under former head coach Chris Hughton.
