URA FC forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe has set his sights on achieving greatness both at the club and national levels, driven by an unrelenting passion for football and ambitious targets.
“Of course, the hard work is driven by the passion I have for the game. When it comes to how hard I go to train and for games, it’s because of how big my targets are. I want to score more goals for the team, help us win games and have a great future ahead,” Ahimbisibwe shared. “A national team call-up and various deals will come if I continue working hard and stay dedicated.”

Nicknamed The Hunter, Ahimbisibwe has been a revelation since joining URA FC from UPDF FC at the start of the 2023/24 season, where he had scored 20 goals across two campaigns.
Last season, he finished as URA’s top scorer with eight goals in all competitions, including the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

This season, Ahimbisibwe has already surpassed his league tally from last season (six goals) and currently leads the StarTimes Uganda Premier League scorers’ chart with seven goals tied with SC Villa’s Charles Lwanga.

Ahimbisibwe’s scoring prowess has been instrumental for URA FC and his consistent performances are now catching the attention of national team selectors and scouts alike. With his eyes firmly set on hitting even greater milestones, The Hunter remains a critical asset for URA FC’s quest for success in the ongoing season.
