Nigerian striker Babatunde Adepoju has refused to discuss his future with South Africa's second-tier side Venda Academy FC after completing his season long loan spell at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in Malawi.
The towering forward rediscovered his mojo while on loan at the TNM Super League team and was deservedly named Bullets Golden Boot Award winner last week.
The Nigerian remains the property of the Motsepe Foundation team, Venda. However, when Pan-Africa Football contacted him on whether he would rejoin the PSL, he was non-committal.
"No comment for now. My target was just to finish the season on a high note," he said briefly.
Adepoju signed for the Motsepe Foundation Championship side in early 2023 on a three-and-a half-year contract following an impressive season with Bullets when he won the TNM Golden Boot Award with 18 goals.
However, the 28-year-old struggled for goals at Venda managing less than five in his debut season before he made a U-turn to rejoin the Blantyre-based outfit on loan. The Nigerian joined Bullets in 2021 after crossing the floor from rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
