The transfer window is coming to a close tonight! The activity has not quite reached its peak but that is sure to change later tonight when clubs secure final moves that could make a major impact in their fortunes for the next six months.
Pan-Africa Football runs through an update of notable transfers involving African players before deadline day reaches its peak:
Kouamé, Bayo and Tissoudali move on loan
After showing signs of promise over the last two seasons with Italian Serie A club Fiorentina, Ivory Coast national team forward Christian Kouamé completed a loan move to fellow Serie A club Empoli.
The 27-year-old's playing time continued to dwindle this season with only one goal in twenty-seven appearances, mostly as a substitute. Kouamé will have an opportunity for more playing time with Empoli who are one point clear of the relegation zone in 17th place.

For Guinea national team striker Mohamed Bayo, the search for consistency continues ever since achieving a big money transfer to LOSC Lille from Clermont. Mostly confined to substitute appearances in his seventeen appearances this season, the 26-year-old is off to Belgian Pro League side Antwerp on loan to see if he can rediscover his scoring touch. Also in Belgium, Madagascar national team star midfielder Loïc Lapoussin switched top flight clubs after joining Sint-Truiden after falling out of favor at Royale Union SG.
Moroccan attacker Tarik Tissoudali also completed a loan move to the United Arab Emirates from Greek giants PAOK. After scoring goals for fun during a very successful spell with Belgium's Genk, the 31-year-old struggled mightily at PAOK and has been shipped off to the Middle East after only six months.
Ganvoula gets his chance in a major European league

Republic of Congo national team star Silvere Ganvoula is off to Italy where the forward joins Monza in Serie A. There is a good chance that Ganvoula, acquired from Swiss club Young Boys, will play Serie B football next season unless he can help Monza turn around a miserable season.
Monza are currently last place with only 13 points from 23 matches, 8 points adrift in the relegation zone. Brazzaville native Ganvoula accumulated 18 goals and 4 assists in 78 appearances for Young Boys after previously enjoying a long spell with Bundesliga 2 side Bochum.
Nigerian striker Ebuka moves to new club in Egypt

John Ebuka, author of a prolific spell with ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League during the 2021-22 seaon, decided to move on from big spenders Ceramic Cleopatra after the announcement of his transfer to Al Masry.
The 28-year-old failed to impress at Cleopatra after arriving for a high six-figure transfer fee, also spending time on loan at Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli. Ebuka could be a major boost for Masry in both domestic league play and also the CAF Confederation Cup after Masry qualified for the quarterfinals.
