Red-hot Congolese forward Simon Banza was on song once again, scoring the only goal to give Trabzonspor a slim 1-0 Turkish Süper Lig win at Adana Demirspor on Saturday.

The 28-year-old found the back of the net just on the stroke of half time with a header from Muhammed Cham's corner kick. The goal separated the two sides and eventually won the day for the visitors.

Banza, who is on loan from Portuguese club SC Braga, has now scored 18 goals from 26 league matches with four assists to his credit this season. His contribution has propelled Trabzonspor into 7th on 41 points from 30 matches.

In another fixture, veteran Senegal forward, Mamadou Fall produced a fine performance for Kasımpaşa who recorded a convincing 3-1 win over Sivasspor on Saturday in the 32nd round of the Turkish Super Lig.

The 33-year-old was key for Kasımpaşa in their home triumph, scoring his team’s second goal on the 34th minute and later winning a penalty that sealed the important win.

Aytaç Kara made no mistake in converting from the spot to cap the strong finish after Can Keleş opened the scoring in the 6th minute. Fall is now on 9 goals from 31 matches with 4 assists this season.

The victory lifted Kasımpaşa to eighth in the table on 42 points as they continue their pursuit of a European spot next season.

In the same game, experienced Guinean forward Fodé Koita found the back of the net for Sivasspor on the 84th minute but that was not enough to save the visitors from the heavy defeat. Sivasspor are struggling in 17th with 31 points from 31 matches - three points below safety.
