
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) concluded three draws on Thursday with the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations field set after draws for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) were conducted in Cairo. The finals of the U-20 AFCON will take place between April 26 and May 18 in Ivory Coast and fellow West African nation Senegal are the defending champions.
Hosts Ivory Coast were grouped with four other teams in Group A while the other two groups are composed of four nations each. One final qualifier from Central Africa's UNIFFAC region has yet to be determined after Republic of Congo were withdrawn due to a FIFA suspension.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the quarterfinals along with the two best third placed teams. All teams who reach the semifinals will qualify to represent CAF at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
