After a difficult first half of the 2024-25 season with Greek giants PAOK saw him move to the United Arab Emirates, Tarik Tissoudali is showing signs of returning to the form seen during his previous dominance of the Belgian Pro League with Genk.
The Dutch-Moroccan assisted the opening goal and scored the other two goals in a 3-0 victory over hapless Al Urooba for Khor Fakkan SC on Thursday. Last place Urooba, with only three points from sixteen matches, fell behind inside three minutes when Tissoudali's touch in the penalty area found Hamdan Humaid for the finish. Tissoudali went on to score twice in the second half for his first goals with Khor Fakkan, who climb up to tenth place in the 14-team league.
In the later match, reigning Asian club champions Al Ain had little trouble with Al Ittihad Kalba, defeating the midtable side 3-1. Morocco national team forward Soufiane Rahimi opened the scoring in the 23rd minute before further first half goals from Kouame Kouadio and Kaku moved Ain beyond reach. Rahimi now has thirteen goals in all competitions this season following his eighth league tally.
