The Uganda Cranes CHAN team wrapped up preparations for their highly anticipated CHAN 2025 Qualifiers clash against Burundi.
The final training session took place at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo yesterday with all 26 players in camp demonstrating high levels of fitness and readiness. Head Coach Paul Put who has been working tirelessly with the team at Nob View Hotel in Ntinda, expressed his satisfaction with the players’ quick adaptation and determination.
“We’ve worked very hard in a short period to prepare the team. We’ve brought in many new players, but I’m glad they’ve been adaptive and ready. The players are motivated and focused, eagerly waiting for the match,” remarked coach Put.
Allan Okello, one of the key players in the squad, emphasized the importance of the match, not only for the players but also for the fans who have high expectations. “We are well prepared, and everyone is fit to play.
"With the teamwork and unity within the team, we will do our best to achieve good results. Thanks to the guidance of our coaches, we have come to understand each other better, which has been excellent preparation for the CHAN 2025 tournament. We will not take the game lightly; our focus is to win and bring joy to our fans,” noted Okello.
The Uganda Cranes are looking to secure a positive result to boost their chances of qualifying for the CHAN 2025 final tournament.
