Uganda Cup Round of 32 Draw: Vipers SC to face Mbarara City, URA FC travel to Mabira TC

The draws for the 2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 were conducted on Monday, 10th February, at the FUFA Complex in Mengo by former Uganda Cranes defender Hassan Wasswa, setting up intriguing fixtures as the knockout competition intensifies.


Current Uganda Premier League leaders Vipers SC have been drawn against Mbarara City FC, promising an exciting battle, while defending champions Kitara FC will take on CATDA FC, a regional league side from Kampala, as they look to defend their title.


In another thrilling encounter, Police FC will lock horns with Soltilo Bright Stars FC, a side they eliminated with a dominant 4-0 victory in the previous edition. Elsewhere, Maroons FC will host fellow Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants FC, setting up a fierce contest.


URA FC, on the other hand, will hit the road to face regional side Mabira Town Council, while record league winners SC Villa will travel to face Simba FC. Former champions BUL FC will welcome Bugoigo Leopards, KCCA FC will visit Kuluva Rainbow FC, and Express FC will battle Total FC for a spot in the next round.


The winner of the 51st edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will earn the right to represent Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup. The Round of 32 matches are scheduled to take place between 19th and 28th February 2025 at various venues across the country.
