KCCA FC will be desperate to break their six-game winless streak when they host bottom-placed Mbale Heroes under the floodlights at Lugogo.

The 13-time league champions last tasted victory in December against Wakiso Giants, and since then, they have struggled—losing three and drawing as many, scoring just once in a 1-1 stalemate with SC Villa.

Head coach Abdallah Mubiru knows only a win will satisfy the home fans as KCCA, currently in 7th place with 25 points, look to climb up the table. Victory could see them move to 6th, while a loss would further deepen their woes.

On the other hand, Mbale Heroes, rooted at the bottom with 10 points, are in dire need of points to escape the relegation zone. A positive result could see them swap places with Soltilo Bright Stars, who face a tricky away fixture against Mbarara City.

Bright Stars, sitting in 15th place, are equally desperate for a win to boost their survival hopes. Mbarara City, currently 12th with 20 points, are not entirely safe either, making their clash at Kakyeka Stadium a high-stakes encounter.

Will KCCA finally end their drought, or will Mbale Heroes pile more misery on the Lugogo giants? Meanwhile, can Bright Stars pull off a crucial win in Mbarara to aid their relegation fight?

Saturday, 8th March 2025 Mbarara City FC vs Soltilo Bright Stars FC – Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara (4:00 PM) KCCA FC vs Mbale Heroes FC – MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo (7:00 PM) Live on Sanyuka Prime TV.
