Zambian side Kabwe Warriors have officially unveiled Ugandan striker Ronald Ssempala, who joins the club as a free agent on a deal running until the end of the season, with an option to extend.

Ssempala, formerly of Soltilo Bright Stars, expressed his excitement at joining the historic club and vowed to make a positive impact. “I am delighted to join this great and historical club, and I hope to contribute positively to its success in the present and near future,” Ssempala said during his unveiling.

“Kabwe Warriors is a big club, and I hope to help the team win titles.”

The forward has previously featured for Kenyan side Sofapaka FC, Soltilo Bright Stars FC, Police FC, and Lugazi FC, where he played a key role in securing their promotion to the top flight.

Ssempala joins fellow Ugandan Hashim Ssempala at Kabwe Warriors, while other Ugandan players, including goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan and Shafik Batambuze, have previously represented the club.
