Ugandan footballers were in action over the weekend for their respective clubs abroad with forward Emmanuel Okwi stealing the spotlight after scoring a brace to guide AS Kigali to a 2-1 victory over Bugesera in the Rwandan Premier League.

Emmanuel Okwi was the hero for AS Kigali, netting twice to secure a 2-1 win over Bugesera.
Nicholas Ssebwato kept a clean sheet as his Mukura Victory Sport edged Amagaju 1-0.
